2026 Summer Ball

SEAWOLVES SUMMER BALL IS HEATING UP FOR 18U, 15U, 13U, 11U & 10U:

The Seawolves Summer League is a highly competitive, high-performance baseball program running through July and into early August. This elite opportunity is designed for dedicated players looking to elevate their game against top-tier competition.

Eligibility:

To be eligible for summer play, a player must have participated in at least 50% of the games during the spring season within the same age group they wish to join for summer, and must have been registered with BC Minor Baseball through one of the GVBA affiliated parks.

Practice & Season Overview:

  • Practices will begin in June, with season games running throughout July. Teams will compete in an exhibition schedule against other teams in their age group across Vancouver Island.

Practice and Game Schedule:

  • Teams typically practice 2–3 times per week, with most games held on weekends against other Vancouver Island teams. Occasionally, there may be a weekday game as well.

Tournaments:

  • In addition to regular league (exhibition) play, each team usually participates in one tournament (may be on the mainland) in early July in Kelowna and a zone tournament the weekend before Provincials. Teams that qualify will advance to the Provincial Championships.

Scheduling:

  • Game schedules are organized by volunteers once team numbers for each age division are confirmed. For the 11U division, matchups often include a mix of 10U to 11UAAA teams due to the smaller number of teams across the island.

Player Availability:

  • If your player will be unavailable on weekends or for an extended period during late June, July, or early August, please inform the coaches at the assessment. This helps us plan the season and ensure everyone’s availability is taken into account.

Estimated Cost:

  • $250–$500 per player, plus travel expenses.

Zone Tournament and Provincials:

  • All teams except 13UAA  play in a Zone Tournament for a chance to qualify for the BC Provincials
