Zane Elarid is this week’s Player of the Week after putting together a strong performance at the plate. He went 6-for-11, drove in 1 RBI, scored 2 runs, and added 1 walk over four games.

The Victoria Seawolves 18U AAA baseball team has been playing some great baseball over the past few weeks. The team has won its last five games and continues to climb the standings as they push toward another Provincial Championship berth.

Our pitching staff has continued to improve each week, giving us quality innings and keeping us competitive in every game. At the plate, our offense has steadily gained momentum, with the team producing more runs and quality at-bats each game.

While defensive consistency has been an area of focus, our fielding has improved significantly and continues to trend in the right direction.

As we head into our final three regular season games, the Wolves remain focused on finishing strong and earning a spot at Provincials once again. The hard work, dedication, and commitment from this group have been outstanding, and we’re excited for what lies ahead.

Carter had an outstanding week at the plate, going 6-for-13, scoring 4 runs, driving in 7 RBIs, and drawing 1 walk. He came through in a huge moment with a walk-off hit to secure a big win for the team. Defensively, Carter was just as impressive, making key plays and showing strong consistency in the field. His all-around performance helped lead the team to success.

HONOURABLE MENTIONS

A special mention goes to Tanner White and Kaedyn Marshall, who both had a tremendous week at the plate. Over 5 games, the duo combined for 22 hits and 16 RBIs, consistently producing offense and helping drive the team’s success. Their hard work and clutch hitting were a major factor in another strong week for the Wolves.

Erik Werner earns Player of the Week honors after an outstanding weekend on the mound. Appearing in relief, Erik threw 6.2 innings, allowing just 6 hits and 2 runs while issuing 3 walks and recording an impressive 9 strikeouts.

Erik looked strong, composed, and in complete control throughout his appearances. His ability to attack hitters and deliver in key situations continues to make him a valuable asset out of the bullpen. Over the course of the season, he has developed into one of the team’s elite relief pitchers, and his performance this weekend showcased the tremendous potential he possesses.
